0 - 3 years

Toddlers and infants aged 0-3 who have a developmental delay of at least 33% in one or more areas of cognitive, communication, social or emotional, adaptive, or physical and motor development including vision and hearing; or have an established risk condition of known etiology, with a high probability of resulting in delayed are eligible for the early start program, a program offered by every regional center within California. The early start program offers a plethora of services, including but not limited to– medical services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, family training, and much more. If a parent of a neurodiverse infant or toddler wishes to apply for the early start program, they may apply on their assigned regional center’s website.
